The worship ministry is an integral part of the life and work at Meridian. Everyone involved with this ministry is a worship leader at heart. As such, there are some basic prerequisites to becoming a part of this ministry team.
- You must be a born-again believer who loves the Lord.
- You must maintain your private devotional life and be involved in a Bible study program.
- You must have a heart for worship and a desire to lead others in the worship experience.
- You must be available to participate in the regularly scheduled preparation activities (e.g. rehearsals, planning sessions, etc.)

Meridian Worship Team
This select group of vocalist is open by audition only. It is open to adults and youth ages 13 and older. The worship team leads the worship services of the church at all regularly scheduled services. They meet once a week to rehearse for worship services with the Worship Band. To arrange an audition please call the church office.
Meridian Children’s Choir
The Children’s Choir is open to all grade school age children who are age 6 through age 12. No audition is required. Children’s Choir meets on Wednesday’s at 6:30 p.m. for rehearsal and recreation time. The Children’s Choir sings during worship as scheduled. This is an area we are currently looking for helpers. Meridian Worship Band
This select group of instrumentalists is open by audition only. It is open to anyone who plays a musical instrument. All instruments are welcomed. The Worship Band plays during all the worship services of the church. The band meets once a week to rehearse for worship services with the Worship Team vocalists. To arrange an audition please call the church office.
Sound and Multimedia Ministry
You don’t have to be a musician to serve in the worship ministry. If you like to fiddle with technology rather than sing or play a musical instrument, then this might be the ministry area for you. We are always in need of technicians to operate the audio equipment and the multimedia software. We organize the volunteers in teams to work the various worship services and special events.
